This daytime fitness class will surely get you motivated to get active with other mothers! Whether you are a post-natal mom or a mom with kids (infants and toddlers), come get fit, lose body fat, improve range of motion, tone and condition while enjoying time with your child.
Traditional gym settings can sometimes be intimidating for new mothers, not to mention very difficult with young children in tow. This non-competitive, supportive, family-friendly environment will cater to moms of all kinds.
MOMS and BABES Fitness is an interactive workout with your child. We focus on a lot of functional movements such as lunges, squats, plyo-metrics, core strengthening exercises, etc.. This class also entails cardiovascular exercises such as jumping jacks, high knees, tippy toes, bear crawls etc. And the best thing is that all of these exercises allow both the moms and tots to participate.
Program Days and Times
1. Tuesdays May 17th to May 31st, 9:45 a.m. - 10:35 a.m. (Mini 3 class program.)
2. Thursdays May 12th to June 2nd, 9:30 a.m. - 10:20 a.m.
Tuesdays - Russell at Loucks Park. (Meet at the Bike Trail on First Ave.,)
Thursdays - Embrun at Yahoo Park (behind the baseball diamonds).
